First work in macro.

I recently purchased a 100mm f2.8 macro, mainly to begin a project on leaf structures. These images are my first uses of the new lens, all handheld.

The Eden Project

The Eden Project remains one of the most visited tourist attractions in the West Country not least because of it's exciting and innovative architecture arrays of exotic plants and selection of thought provoking artefacts. Below is a small selection of images that I made while visiting Eden this Summer.

West Country Seaside Shots

A few snaps from my recent family holiday to the west country. Some of these images also represent my first foray into street photography.

NYC 1

Without doubt one of the most charged up places on the planet. Guess you either love it or hate it: I fall into the former and can't wait to get back there at some point in my life.

Lakes Landscapes

One of my favourite places in the world is the Lake District, Cumbria. Beautiful scenery, great beers and at the right time of year a lot of peace and quiet. These are just a few landscape images from there.

Norden Farm

Got kinda grounded while camping in Dorset a while ago due to my son having Chicken Pox. Found some great old dilapidated buildings and general detritus around the farm that we were staying on.
